Alex Edward Uribe

Alex "Eddie" Uribe, 27, of Fayetteville NC, passed away on May 1, 2016
Alex served in the Army from 2009 until he was medically discharged with honors in 2015. While serving in the Army, Alex served 1 tour to Afghanistan in 2011. 

Alex is survived by his mother, Maria I. Uribe; his brothers, Alec Uribe and Aiden Olivera; his sister, Aliziah Olivera; his nephew, Caleb Alex Uribe; his nieces, Daisy Sarai Uribe and Leila Rose Uribe; his sister-in-law, Jenifer Andrade; his grandmother, Teresa Uribe; his Aunts, Uncles and many other friends and family. 

Alex is preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Olivera; his grandfather, Jose J. Uribe and his nephew, Angel Ruiz-Rodriguez.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 on May 12, 2016 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home, 1562 East Baseline Rd. Mesa, AZ 85204. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., on May 13, 2016 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 2654 East Williams Field Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85295. 

Alex touched so many lives, especially while serving his country with honor, courage and his selflessness. He is loved by many and will be missed by all.
