My deepest condolences to the Lock family:
Life indeed does take its turns. And when someone has been around for 78 years and falls asleep in death they have made beautiful memories to cherish. They will be missed. And, my heart aches for you. May you look forward to the Most High God of Comfort fulfilling His promises (Psalms 83:18 & 2Corinthians 1:3, 4).
Notice what He promises: Revelations 21:4 ( No more pain, tears, sorrow or death) and He even says where they are (Daniel 12:2), and the beautiful resurrection hope (John 5:28, 29) and where they will be ( Psalms 37:11) and how long (Psalms 37:29). I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to us when our precious daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death. I truly understand the deep pain of losing a loved one.
Please hold onto those precious promises yes, seeing our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24).

Hello Lock Family, I'm a neighbor living in the area.
Having heard of your most recent loss,I want to leave you a brief post. I too well know the grief of losing love ones, and that at times like these, it is encouraging just to know that others are thinking about us. Something that has really helped me to cope with such losses, is the wonderful promise of Christ Jesus, recorded for our comfort at John 5: 28,29. I hope, that when you are feeling up to it, that you are going to look up these powerful Scriptures, in your copy of The Bible. Also, I hope that this brief note, finds The Family feeling as good as can be expected Today.

Dear Lock Family: Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your family member. I hope that you lean on our heavenly Father from comfort. The pages of the Bible are always helpful. Acts 24:15 promises a resurrection and Philippians 4:6,7 assures us of God's compassion, ability and desire to be there for us in a difficult time like this. Again, I'm am sorry for your loss.

I am sorry to read of your loss. Please take solace in knowing that the Creator has provided a hope for our dead loved ones. That hope was so beautifully expressed by Jesus Christ at John 5:25, 28. When the family feels up to it I hope you will take the time to read about that resurrection hope.
