To the family of Elijah Vines, Jr.
I was saddened to hear of the death of Mr. Vines. Please accept my sincere condolence for your loss. Psalms 90:10 says that the span of our life is 70 years, or 80 if one is especially strong. Mr . Vines lived for 78 years, according to the scriptures he was especially strong.
The Bible offers much comfort for those that have lost loved ones in death. John 5:28,29 says that all those in the grave will be resurrected. Acts 24:15 says that that I have hope toward God, that there is going to be a resurrection of the dead. I lost my wife of 25 years last February and these words have been a great source of comfort for me and hope they will be for you as well.

Sincerely,
MB Archie

The Bible tells us at 1 Corinthians 15:26 'the last enemy death is to be brought to nothing.' this will be accomplished through the resurrection of billions that have lived and died. God can and does remember every detail of those who have died. those in his memory will be among those that hear Jesus' voice and awaken from the sleep of death. Knowing that Bible truth can be comforting. May that be the case with your family.

Hello Vines Family, I'm a neighbor living in the area.
Having heard of your most recent loss, I want to leave you a brief post. I too well know the grief of losing love ones, and that at times like these, it is encouraging just to know that others are thinking about us. Something that has really helped me to cope with such losses, is the wonderful promise of Christ Jesus, recorded for our comfort at John 5:28,29. I hope, that when you are feeling up to it, that you are going to look up these powerful Scriptures, in your copy of The Bible. Also , I hope that this brief note, finds The Family feeling as good as can be expected Today.
With Greatest Sympathy, Your Neighbor :P.D.Walker.

My deepest condolences to the Vines family:
Life indeed does take its turns. And when someone has been around for 78 years and falls asleep in death they have made beautiful memories to cherish. They will be missed. And, my heart aches for you. May you look forward to the Most High God of Comfort fulfilling His promises (Psalms 83:18 & 2Corinthians 1:3, 4).
Notice what He promises: Revelations 21:4 ( No more pain, tears, sorrow or death) and He even says where they are (Daniel 12:2), and the beautiful resurrection hope (John 5:28, 29) and where they will be ( Psalms 37:11) and how long (Psalms 37:29). I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to us when our precious daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death. I truly understand the deep pain of losing a loved one.

Please hold onto those precious promises yes, seeing our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24).
My deep deep heartfelt sympathy,
Sissy
