Frankie Owens

Frankie Owens, 61, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at his home.

Memorial Service, 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 2, 2017, Unity Chapel at Cliffdale, 1037 71st School Road, Fayetteville.

Mr. Owens was born in Stamford, Connecticut on February 8, 1956 to Mr. Dallas W. Owens, Jr. and Marie A. Smith-Owens.

Mr. Owens was a graduate of the Stamford, Connecticut school system.  He was a Millwright by trade and well known for his sense of humor and ability to fix almost anything mechanical.

He was predeceased by his father, Dallas W. Owens, Jr. and brother, Marvin L. Owens.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories; his mother, Marie A. Smith-Owens of the home; one son, Lamont B. Owens of CT; one daughter, Felicia M. Southern of Villa Rica, GA; one niece, Kimberly Melvin of Fayetteville, NC; one great nephew, Ka Non Melvin; one great niece, Ka Naya Melvin; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
