Gudrun Walston

Mrs. Gudrun Walston, 61, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015, at her home.

She was born December 21, 1953, in Wetzlar, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Enich (Hedwig) Gross.

Gudrun married Michael on March 29, 1990 in Giesson, Germany celebrating 25 years of marriage.

She loved babysitting children and taking care of animals.


Gudrun is survived by her husband, Michael,one son; Maik Gross, of Wetzlar, Germany; a sister, Paula Gross, of Lawton, OK; and a nephew, Edwin Fierus, of Fayetteville, N.C.

Visitation: Saturday, July 25, 2015, 10:00 A. M. to 11:00 A. M., Unity Chapel at Cliffdale, 1037 71st School road, Fayetteville.

Funeral: Saturday, July 25, 2015, 11:00 A. M., Unity Chapel at Cliffdale. Interment will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
