James Earl Palmer

James Earl Palmer, 55, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017.  He was born April 12, 1962, in Shreveport, LA, the son of Earl Alexander and Vernell Ford.  Services will be private.

After attending high school, James served in the US Army and married Shirley Lee Lewis.  Throughout his life, James built his career in home construction and flooring and loved the Carolina Panthers and UNC teams.  James will also be remembered for his love of helping others.

James was predeceased by his father, Earl Alexander, mother, Vernell Ford, and his grandmother Betsy Mae Palmer.  He is survived by his wife, Shirley Lee Palmer of the home, Marilyn Edwards, Trina Edwards, Roger & Kim McGlothon, and a host of friends.
