Michael Wayne Upton

Michael Wayne "Peaches" Upton, 48, of Belmont, NC, passed away Friday, December 02, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. 

Visitation, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2016, 611 Tryon Place, Gastonia, NC.

Peaches was a welder by trade.  His hobbies were the outdoors -- fishing and camping.  Most of all he enjoyed family, friends, and spending time with his special buddy, Landon Harper.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Upton; and Gary Upton of Gastonia; Aaron, Julie, and Luke Upton, all of Vale; Paul and Janice Eagles of Gastonia. He is predeceased by his father, Harley W. Upton.
