Milton Foster Piekarski

Milton Foster Piekarski age 73, passed away on Monday November 6, 2017.  He was born in Georgetown, British Guiana on April 30, 1944. He was the son of the late Lillie Piekarski and Clarence Piekarski. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Matthew and John. Grandchild; Mathew 

Foster was a military “brat” and lived all over the USA. He graduated high school in Little Falls, MN and joined the United States Army.  He was a Vietnam-era veteran, serving with the 82nd Airborne Division from 1963 to 1966.  He met his former wife while in Fayetteville, NC and they moved to Minnesota. While in Minnesota two sons were born. They moved back to Fayetteville in 1974 and another two sons were born. 

Foster was a former Sunday School teacher and leader of the Juniors at Berean Baptist Church from 1975 to 1986.

Foster had many interest over the years from gardening, and growing flowers to collecting stamps, coins, books, movies, and tropical fish. He was an avid reader and movie buff. He was knowledgeable on many subjects. 

Foster leaves behind to cherish his memory four sons: Jason, Kevin, Lucas and Daniel.  15 Grandchildren: Ethan, Kevin II, Akemi, Nicolas, Audrey,  Xandrea, Zylena, Chaos, Analeigha, Marcus, Rage, Maya and Marley. One Great grandchild: Audrie

He is survived by his siblings, Mary Piekarski and Clarance  Piekarski. Former wife Glenda Piekarski-Hunt. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 2pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church. 

Memorials may be made to Purple Heart Homes in Foster’s name. “
