The death of a loved one bring such emotional pain and fills one's life with sorrow for a time. It has been said that time heals all and that is true if tender care is received. Our Creator and his son, Jesus provides such tender care through comforting words recorded in the Bible. The Creator comfort us by having the words of Job put in the Bible. At Job 14:14, 15 we read: " If a man dies can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service until my relief comes. You(God) will call and I will answer you. You(God) will long for the work of your hands. Here Job was speaking of that wonderful provision for the dead- the resurrection. Later Jesus spoke of this same hope before he brought his friend Lazarus from the dead. AT John 11: 25 he stated to Martha, Lazarus Sister these words: " I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me even though he dies will come to life..." That hope of a resurrection can sustain your family and help them through this difficult time now and in the coming days. So sorry for your loss.

Hello Johnson Family. I'mean a neighbor living in Fayetteville.
Having heard of your most recent loss, I want to leave you a brief post. I too well know, the grief of losing love ones and that at times like these, it is encouraging just to know that others are thinking about us. Something that has really helped me to cope with such losses, is the wonderful promise of Christ Jesus, recorded for our comfort at John 5 : 28,29. I hope that when you are feeling up to it, that you are going to look up these powerful Scriptures, in your copy of The Bible. Also, I hope that this brief note, finds The Family feeling as good as can be expected Today.
With Greatest Sympathy, Your Neighbor : P.D.Walker.

My deep condolences to the Johnson family:
Although, we have never met I have lost loved ones to the pain of death. And I would like to share what helped me during those most difficult times.
It wasn't just being around family & friends. But the hope & encouragement you get from the gift that the Most High God gave to each & everyone of us, yes that is His written word the Bible (Psalms 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16). Please, notice how God's precious son Jesus viewed death in such a gentle way. At John 11:11-14 yes he viewed death as one sleeping. And God gives us the assurance that there will be a resurrection of loved ones from the sting of death (John 5:28, 29). And He even says where they are are & where they will be (Daniel 12:2 & Psalms 37:11). May you look forward to God's promises being fulfilled (Titus 1:2).

I hope these few Scriptures were of some comfort. Please feel free to contact me or visit jw.org for more words of encouragement. Our daughter fell asleep in death and recently my precious husband of 50 years fell asleep in death also. I truly understand.

With deep sympathy,
Sissy
