Florence Manuel

Florence Denise Manuel, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away unexpectedly on April 21, 2018.  Florence was born in Newark NJ on February 21, 1968 to Carolyn Manuel- Price and as an infant the family relocated to Auburn N.Y.   Florence attended Auburn High School where she graduated and became a licensed Cosmetologist.  Florence was one of the top stylist in the Auburn-Syracuse N.Y area before moving to Fayetteville NC. 

Florence worked as an independent licensed stylist for over 27 years with her last place of business at Styles by Pinky Salon and Hair Gallery.  In addition, she was employed at Exxon.  Florence enjoyed her private time but of all she enjoyed time with family and friends, whom she held close to her heart. 

Florence is survived by one daughter Nikeria Nichols of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters Patricia Manuel of Fayetteville, NC, and Jackie (Brian) Poole of Buckeye, AZ; one brother Kevin (Neoshun) Manuel of Phoenix, AZ;  one niece, two nephews, aunts and uncles, including a host of cousins.

She is preceded in death by her mother Carolyn Manuel-Price and her aunt Ella Mae Humphrey who assisted in raising her when her mom passed at a young age. Her maternal grandparents Mozell Manuel and Lucas C Manuel Sr.,  an aunt and 4 uncles. 

Memorial service, 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2018, Unity Chapel at Cliffdale, 1037 71st School Road, Fayetteville.
