Dear Family,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you as you endure this difficult time. Death at any age is very painful for us. I hope that you can find comfort in the scripture found at 2 Corinthains 2;3.4,where it shows us that God is there to comfort us during our trials. You can rely on him to give you strength during this difficult time. I hope you find peace and joy also in knowing that soon there will be a resurrection (Acts24;15) and we will see our loved ones again.

My deep condolences go to the Hornbeck family on the loss of your precious loved one. Losing a loved one is never easy. The emotional pain & emptiness is so real. But, I would like to share what helped us when our daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years.
It was indeed the gift that the Most High God gave to each & everyone of us. And that is His written Word the Bible. In it contains many many words of comfort. I would like to share what has and is helping me. Please, notice God's son Jesus comforting view of death. At John 11:11-14 it brings out that Jesus viewed death as one sleeping. And not that one is here or there. I wondered will I see my loved ones again? And from the Scriptures the answer is "yes."
Please, notice these few Scriptures: Isaiah 33:24(No more sickness) Revelation 21:4(No more pain, sorrow or death) John 5:28, 29(the Resurrection hope). And, it says where at Psalm 37:11 & Psalm 37:29 brings out how long that will last. As you ponder over these few Scriptures may it bring you some comfort knowing the Most High God will fulfill His promises(Psalm 83:18 & Titus 1:2).

Sent in deep sympathy,
Sissy

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. There is a very comforting scripture found at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can look forward to a time when death will be done away with forever. I hope that this scripture can bring some comfort during this time.

I am so sorry to hear that such a sweet man has left us. I will miss his kisses and hugs, and his wonderful smile. It was an absolute pleasure knowing him. I will keep Debbie and the family in my thoughts and prayers.
