Dear McMahon: Please accept my sincere condolences for your family at this difficult time. Acts 24:15 gives us a wonderful hope. It tells us that there will be a resurrection of the dead. One day you will be able to see Mr. McMahon again. But until that time, Jehovah, our heavenly Father has promised us that he will be the God of peace and that he will guard our hearts and minds. This is certainly a time when we need guidance from our heavenly Father. I hope these scriptures have helped and comforted you on some way. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

One can struggle to find words that are both upbuilding and encouraging. For me the words written at Isaiah 26:19 fits that criteria. There you will read: " Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust!. For your dew is as the dew of the morning, and the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." I do hope the family draw comfort from these words of the Creator.

Hello McMahan Family, I'm a neighbor living in Fayetteville.
Having heard of your most recent loss, I want to leave you a brief post. I too well know, the grief of losing love ones and that at times like these, it is encouraging just to know that others are thinking about us. Something that has really helped me to cope with such losses, is the wonderful promise of Christ Jesus, recorded for our comfort at John 5 : 28,29. I hope, that when you are feeling up to it, that you are going to look up these powerful Scriptures, in your copy of The Bible. Also, I hope that this brief note, finds The Family feeling as good as can be expected Today.

My deepest condolences to the McMahan family:
May you find some comfort in the Gift that the Most High God has given us, yes His written word the Bible (Psalms 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16). I would like to share a few Scriptures that helped us to cope when our precious daughter died and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death: (Isaiah 25:8)swallow up death, (Isaiah 33:24)no more sickness, (John 5:28, 29)seeing loved ones again, (2Corinthians 1:3) yes God can comfort us, to deal with present situations. But, He also says where we can see our loved ones again at Psalms 37:11 and how long Psalms 37:29. I hopes that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to me.
