My deepest condolences to the McLeod family:
May you find some comfort in the Gift that the Most High God has given us, yes His written word the Bible (Psalms 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16). I would like to share a few Scriptures that helped us to cope when our precious daughter died and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death: (Isaiah 25:8)swallow up death, (Isaiah 33:24)no more sickness, (John 5:28, 29)seeing loved ones again, (2Corinthians 1:3) yes God can comfort us, to deal with present situations. But, He also says where we can see our loved ones again at Psalms 37:11 and how long Psalms 37:29. I hopes that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to me.
My sincere sympathy,
Sissy

" For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus."-1 Thessalonians 4:14 This reveals the resurrection hope for the dead. When Jesus was on the earth he not only talked about this hope but he raised the dead. Just as he did in Bible times he will do again in the near future. We can have absolute confidence that "there is going to be a resurrection of the dead.'- Acts 24:15

Dear Mcleod Family: I am so sorry for your loss. I wanted to share a couple of scriptures with you, that offer some comfort, specifically for times like this. At Acts 24:15 we are promised by our heavenly Father that there will be a resurrection of our loved ones that we have lost. But in the meantime, he tells us at Philippians 4:6,7 that he will be the God of peace for us and they he will guard our hearts and minds. In times like this, knowing that our heavenly Father, Jehovah is there for us is a real comfort. I hope these scriptures help and again, I am sorry for your loss.

Hello McLeod Family, I'm a neighbor living in the area.
Having heard of your most recent loss, I want to leave you a brief note. I too well know the grief of losing love ones, and that at times like these, it is encouraging just to know that others are thinking about us. Something that has really helped me to cope with such losses, is the wonderful promise of Christ Jesus, recorded for our comfort at John 5:28,29. I hope , that when you are feeling up to it, that you are going to look up these powerful Scriptures, in your copy of The Bible. Also, I hope that this brief note, finds The Family feeling as good as can be expected Today.
With Greatest Sympathy, Your Neighbor : P.D.Walker.
