Dear Reeves Family: Please accept my sincere condolences for your family at this difficult time. Acts 24:15 gives us a wonderful hope. It tells us that there will be a resurrection of the dead. One day you will be able to see Thelma again. But until that time, Jehovah, our heavenly Father has promised us that he will be the God of peace and that he will guard our hearts and minds. This is certainly a time when we need guidance from our heavenly Father. I hope these scriptures have helped and comforted you on some way. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry to hear about Mrs. Thelma, it's been a long time since I have seen her or spoke to her. She was an amazing woman. So loving, she had a tough side but had such a big heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you go through this time of grieving.

Momma,

You are so missed and loved. I take comfort in knowing there will be no more suffering and you are in Heaven with your Heavenly Father, your Birth Parents Ralph and Daisy Oxendine, Brother Joesph Oxendine, daughter Teresa Reeves Outlaw and my Daddy Lindsy Lee Maness. My heart is broken but I know you knew I was there and you took your last breathe in my arms. Life will never be the same without you.

Always your Baby Girl,

I do hope the family of Mrs. Reeves will take comfort in this encouraging thought that in coming from one who really knows and feels your pain. these comforting words written at 2 Thessalonians says: "Moreover, may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and gave us everlasting comfort and good hope by means of undeserved kindness comfort your hearts and make you firm in every good deed and word." Yes the Giver of life knows what you feel because he never intended for man to die. He wanted humans to live forever. So when one dies, He is saddened. But he comforts us by the provision of the resurrection. Yes just as he restored his son's life, He will do the same for countless others. Please take the time
to read Job 14:13-15 and note what his desires is in regard to those who become victims of death. So sorry for your loss.

My deep condolences to the Oxendine / Reeves family. Although, we have never met I have lost loved ones to the pain of death. And I would like to share what helped me during those most difficult times.
It wasn't just being around family & friends. But the hope & encouragement you get from the gift that the Most High God gave to each & everyone of us, yes that is His written word the Bible (Psalms 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16). Please, notice how God's precious son Jesus viewed death in such a gentle way. At John 11:11-14 yes he viewed death as one sleeping. And God gives us the assurance that there will be a resurrection of loved ones from the sting of death (John 5:28, 29). And He even says where they are are & where they will be (Daniel 12:2 & Psalms 37:11). May you look forward to God's promises being fulfilled (Titus 1:2).

I hope these few Scriptures were of some comfort. Please feel free to contact me or visit jw.org for more words of encouragement. Our daughter fell asleep in death and recently my precious husband of 50 years fell asleep in death also. I truly understand.

With deep sympathy,
Sissy

Hello Reeves Family, I'm a neighbor living in Fayetteville.
Having heard of your most recent loss, I want to leave you a brief post. I too well know, the grief of losing love ones and that at times like these, it is encouraging just to know that others are thinking about us. Something that has really helped me to deal with such losses, is the wonderful promise of Christ Jesus, recorded for our comfort at John 5 28,29. I hope , that when you are feeling up to it, that you are going to look up these powerful Scriptures, in your copy of The Bible. Also, I hope that this brief note, finds The Family feeling as good as can be expected Today.
With Greatest Sympathy, Your Neighbor : P.D.Walker.
