Wayne Felix Geiger, Sr.

Wayne Felix Geiger, Sr., 76, of Hope Mills, NC, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 surrounded by his family.  He was born October 22, 1940, in Bronx, New York , the son of Fredrick C. and Hildagarde Z. Geiger.

After graduating from high school, Wayne joined us US Navy and following his military service, he was professional truck driver.  He also was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.  Throughout his life he was a fan of NASCAR and a staunch New York Jets fan.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Jill Geiger, of the home, his father, Frederick Geiger of Cheshire, Massachusetts, children; Michael of Franklin, NC, Wayne Jr. of Hope MIlls, Freddy of Stephensville, LA, Samantha of Hope Mills, Tabatha of Fayetteville, Sabrina of Hope Mills, Melissa of Hope Mills, David of Franklin, NC; sisters Darlene of Ocala, FL, Debbie of Palmetto, FL, Merrilee of North Babylon, NY, 33 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his loving mother Hildagarde Geiger and his sister Karalee Nespolini.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM to be held at the Grays Creek Recreation Center located at 2964 School Road, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348.
