Donald Miller, was called home to be with the Lord
early Tuesday morning, November 1, 2022.
Donald called Donnie by family was born to Eugene
and Arlena (McMillan) Miller on June 4, 1960.
Donnie attended Fayetteville City schools: North
Street Elementary, Alexander Graham Junior High,
and Terry Sanford High School, where he graduated
1978. Donnie grew up attending First Baptist Church
on Moore Street. Donnie worked in many trades and
was a handy man to many.
Donnie was proceeded in death by his parents
Eugene and Arlena, his brother Samuel E. McMillan,
and sisters, Theresa O. McMillan and Priscilla M.
Bates. He leaves to cherish his memory: his brother
Glenn McMillan and sister-in-law Carol McMillan
of New Haven, Connecticut; a brother-in-law Ronald
Bates of Fayetteville, North Carolina; a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend,
Barbara Fitzgerald, who cared for him in his final days
