Mrs. Doris Lee Fletcher, 87, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed February 10, 2021, at Haymount Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. She was born in Parkton, NC., to the late Gertrude and Jack Weeks, (Step Father).
Doris was educated in the Robeson County School System. After completing her education she worked as a Housekeeper for Mr. and Mrs. Leon Sugar and Family after which she retired after 30 plus years.
Doris was married to Otis Fletcher in August 1959 until his passing in June 1991.
Doris was a member of the Usher Board at Bible Way Holiness Church of Fayetteville. An Usher board Member of Kingdom Impact Global Ministries formerly known as Parks Chapel FWB. Golden Age Senior Citizens, of Kingdom Impact Global Ministries. United Order of Tents Fayetteville Area.
Her Personal interest being a servant of God through Ushering and spending time with her family. Serving in the Fayetteville Area of the United Order of Tents.
Doris is Survived by a Son: Jerry Fletcher, Fayetteville NC. Four sisters: Mary Hendricks Spring Hope NC, Barbara (Melvin) Jackson, Washington DC, Helen Jones, Baily, NC & Lucille Womack, Hope Mills, NC. Six grandchildren: Alvin Fletcher Sr. Fayetteville, North Carolina, James (Shonda) Monroe III , Tony (Yolanda) Monroe, Tiffany Monroe, all of Fayetteville, Brian Fletcher, and Christopher Fletcher, of Upper Marlboro ND. Nine great grandchildren: Alvin Jr., Jessica, Destiny, Jayla, Genesis, JaDorius, JaVeon, Markaja, and Kamari. A Son-in-love: Bishop James C. Monroe Jr., Sister-in-love: Alma McLean. Children of love: The Sugar family: Harriett, Donna, Mitchell, and Joe. A host of nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, cousins and loved ones to cherish her memory.

Doris was preceded in death by her daughter: Lady Doris F. Monroe, Mother: Gertrude Weeks, Step Father, Jack Weeks, and two brothers: Thomas Weeks and Winfred McLean.
Funeral, 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2021, Kingdom Impact Global Ministries, 2503 Murchison Road, Fayetteville. Burial, Rockfish Memorial Park. Visitation, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., prior to the service.
