Harold Wayne Smith

     Harold Wayne Smith went to be with our heavenly father on September 17, 2023. He was born on December 8, 1952, to James Norman Smith and Shirley Rose Mears Barnes.  He joined the Navy in 1972 and he received an honorable medical discharge in 1975.

     He is survived by his loving wife Lisa Davis Smith of the home, 2 sons Seth Elliott Smith and Scott Ethan Smith of the home.  1 daughter Scarlett Elizabeth Smith (Thomas Hutson) of White Haven, PA.  1 brother James Michael Smith of Wilmington NC. 2 sisters, Karen Jean Shaw and Jackie Lynn Simmons both of Lumberton.  2 grandchildren who were their Poppy’s heart Jackson Brett Lowry and Julia Grace Lowry of Fayetteville, NC and several nieces and nephews.

     Wayne was the love of Lisa’s life and her “Honey Bun” he loved the Lord and his church Family.

     In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Zion Hill Baptist Church 12883 Highway 41 N, Attention James Sessoms with Youth Mission.

     Family will receive friends at the home at 6505 Singletary Church Rd. Visitation will be at 6-7pm Thursday September 21, 2023, and Memorial Service will start at 7pm at Zion Hill Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall 12883 Highway 41 N.
