Margeline (McCall) Melvin

Margeline “Sister” Melvin, 72, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018.

She is preceded in death by parents, Rufus and Zora McCall; and 18 sisters and brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Army Maj. (ret) Shelton Leon Melvin; children, Dr. Lamont Andre Melvin (Dr. Lisa), Minister Lamontico M. Melvin (Aisha), and Roderick R. Stocks; grandchildren, L. Austin Melvin, Sheldon I. Melvin, Lamontico M. Melvin, Jr., and Leila N. Melvin; sisters, Willie Catherine Moore and Zora Pitt; brother, Lewis McCall (Faye); and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Visitation, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, October 30, 2018, Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 118  Johnson Street, Fayetteville

Homegoing Service, 12:00 Noon Tuesday, October 30, 2018, Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church

Interment, Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Fort Bragg.
