Teresita (Montero) Cruz

Teresita Cruz, 64, of Parkton, NC, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021.  Funeral, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 27, 2021, Unity Chapel at Cliffdale, 1037 71st School Road, Fayetteville.

Teresita Montero Cruz was born on November 30, 1956 in Nangobongan, San Juan, Abra, Philippines.  She was the third child of Gabriel and Basalisa Montero.  She lived in Nangobongan from 1956 to 2012, and later moved to North Carolina in 2012 until her passing on November 18, 2021.

Teresita was married to Rolando M. Cruz for over 40 years.  They have been blessed with eight children, and 14 grandchildren:  Ricardo Cruz and his wife Imelda with two children; Reynaldo Cruz and partner Michelle with two children; Mirasol Sturch and her husband Dean; Marvin Cruz and his wife Mayo Rose with three children; Hector Cruz and wife Elma with four children; Daisy Cruz and her partner Michael with one child; Maritess Cruz; Rolando Cruz Jr and his wife Pearl-Joy with two children.

Teresita also known as "Ambit" to her friends and family was a devoted mother to raising her children the best she could in their rural upbringing.  She put family first in all her endeavors.  Always saying "Her children and grandchildren were her greatest achievements and joy!"

Ambit was never one to sit down, she was always either in touch with family and friends overseas and/or out gardening, sweeping and cleaning.  She was always busy.  All her life she worked to make sure her family could enjoy life to the fullest.  SHE WAS A SUPER MOM!!
