My thoughts & prayers are with you all in the passing of your mother. She truly was a wonderful lady. She has been with us at all our family gatherings for as long as I can recall. I am asked at make her German potato salad for every family gathering & there is standing room only for the German pancakes. I am so glad that my mother added her to our family. She will be missed by all.

Gerda was a very special lady and we were privileged to have had her in our lives. We always knew that when we talked to her she was going to tell Larry that we needed to move to NC and when he said we couldn't do that then she would tell me to tell her Booba that she really needed him to move to NC. On our last visit to NC we had our youngest 2 grandsons with us and she was known as Oma to them. We will now be watched over by 2 wonderful angels in heaven. Ann and Gerda are together again and now it will be forever. We were so blessed to have known Gerda and we will miss her dearly. Our love and condolences to her family.

Oma was a wonderful woman, always so happy to see me. I enjoyed every moment we got to spend together and I'm so glad to have had her influence me over the years. She told me once to never forget to tell my mom And dad I love them because one day I won't be able to and I will regret it. I'm going to miss her and I loved her! I'm so glad she had the pleasure of being able to meet and hold Alaina. My condolences to you all... I know this is a hard thing for everyone.

My heart aches at the passing of this great woman. She was such a pillar of love and compassion to everyone who's lives she touched. She will be greatly missed. Love and Peace to the Hepner family.
