Hello, I am sending my sincere condolences to the family of Ms. Gertie B. Davis. I too have recently lost a loved one in death. As I look through the many obituaries I find it very consoling and faith strengthening to offer a few kind words. I wanted to share a comforting scripture which is a promise from the Bible. John 17:3 - This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
This scripture encourages me because I know that I will have the opportunity to see my loved ones again and during that time we shall all live forever.
I pray that this scripture was of some comfort to the family.
